Some experience in physician office environment strongly preferred.
Typing, computer experience, EMR/Practice management software experience also preferred.
The Medical Receptionist position welcomes patients into the practice with the utmost customer service standards, professionalism, courtesy and respect.
They work hand in hand with patients, clinicians and other staff helping to ensure that patient and provider needs are met through accurate performance of their duties.
They have responsibility to make sure that they screen for insurance eligibility, collect proper co-pays at the time of service, and help to ensure proper coding for services performed by the office staff and providers.
